SenseCrowd - Smart Cities
Emotion recognition technology can be used as a tool to generate real-time ‘crowd sentiment maps’ in public places in smart cities for security and safety, comfort and pleasure purposes.

The algorithm can rapidly scan and evaluate thousands of faces, providing real-time information on crowd sentiment and behaviour patterns. Mood detection with existing CCTV, Sensors & IoTs in public spaces and events can help analyse crowd behaviour to identify potential threat or aggressive behaviour, or facilitate traffic movement.

Emotion data generated from facial expressions and eye tracking of passers-by can be used to measure the effectiveness of interactive DOOH (Digital Out of Home) ads. Emotion-based advertising campaigns can help companies adapt its brand awareness strategy on a level with “neuromarketing”.
